Re: New here, what do you think of my cleanseing plan?
Not sure where you got
Liver Flushes from my post nor, how one can tell leaky gut through visual inspection (it can't even be picked up through endoscopes). I suggest you re read my post.
I suspect hormonal imbalances due to malfunctioning adrenal/thyroid being a major contributor to at least my suffering of candida along with many others: perhaps yours as well and explained in detail why in my other post (thus, re read it). It's rare there aren't adrenal/thyroid issues with most every candida patient. Along with many other conditions, a chain reaction of a bad feedback loops, if you will.
Any flushes while in a state of adrenal fatigue/hypothyroid is not something I personally would not recommend as it further stresses these already overly stressed systems. Hard transitions to a restricted diet potentially could also further stress these same endocrine systems. Also, flushes in and of themselves may help remove mycotoxins but, will not cure candida alone. If you have mycotoxins in your blood this suggests leaky gut since that's typically how candida bores through the GI and enters the blood stream in the first place.
Many do think low stomach acid is a part of unraveling the candida enigma. Some use swedish bitters which encourage your body to create it's own digestive enzymes to aid digestion. Others have used digestive enzymes rather than force the body to make it's own. Some use HCL to increase stomach acid. This gives me horrible stomach acid problems so I tend to think stomach acid isn't an issue in my case but, everyone is different.
Yes, disbyosis, or flora imbalance is common with candida since flora is what keeps candida in check: thus why
Antibiotics tend to create disbyosis. In my limited understanding, probtiotics are the single most important thing to recovery/treatment. Probiotics are acids and help create an acidic environment which discourages candida. They also compete to take over the territory within the GI limiting Candida's growth. However, Probiotics alone will not cure candida nor, will diet or just antifungals. If one is suffering from adrenal fatigue/hypothyroid correcting disbyosis becomes even more of a challenge.
Burping could be more a function of swallowing air when eating/drinking (or from carbonated drinks which aren't something someone with candida should be doing) than a sign of what's happening during digestion. It could also be a sign of not chewing your food long enough; chewing helps stimulate mouth enzymes the first steps in the digestion process. Chewing each bite 30 times is something to consider; rather than gulping things down. From what I've read from months of seeking, no one has complained of burping while on a candida treatment: more common is bloating and gas/wind.
Think you are too stuck on the 3 months of cipro and it's clouding your ability to see the forest despite the trees. For instance, what caused the prostrate issue in the first place (its a known issue with candida) could have very well been candida related, which the cipro exasperated. Rather than blaming anything, what's more important is understanding how to treat your condition. Keep seeking, you have only scratched the surface of this complicated subject: which I feel applies to myself as well. It's a steep learning curve which takes time and effort.
I still suggest taking your basal temp (body temp upon waking) low temps suggest adrenal/thyroid issues which are common with leaky gut. How to correct all this, I don't know other than picking a treatment and working at it. It's gong to take time and diligence for any of us to recover.
Good luck and I hope you take the time to research on your own more of these matters further. Blessings.
