Hair loss help, mercury toxicity

I come from a family with full heads of hair, in fact nobody in my family on both sides are going bald (even great grandparents in their 90's). I am a 30 year old male that exercises 6 days a week and eat a non processed food diet. I have been experiencing hair loss (frontal region mainly), itchy scalp, and dry hair. I believe this to be from being full of toxic mercury in my system.

I have already removed 25% of my Amalgam fillings and will get another 25% taken out on Sept 24/2012 (this monday) I will get another 25% taken out in a couple more months and the last taken out in a couple of more months. I am so excited I cant wait to finally get these out.

I read somewhere that mercury blocks the proper hormones from acting normal. I was thinking that maybe the mercury is playing around with something that is regulating hair growth. Would taking Iodine fix this in the meantime while I am waiting to get my Amalgam fillings out? Also I read that Iodine will help detox mercury, is this safe to do while I still have Amalgam fillings in?

Any help would be much appreciated, if anyone else with hair loss from mercury could help out that would be great.

Also will my hair grow back once the amalgam fillings are out and the mercury is chelated?
