Re: Time Frame for crashes?

Hi leslie,
Sorry you are still having a hard time.....it does seem to take a while. I had similar symptoms to you and I am now 6months post (and much better). In terms of getting rid of the pain (permanent LHS hip and lower back) Turmeric really helped me (I know I have posted this before (so if you want further info look at my old posts which also come up as ausmum). I continued to feel bad (depressed, in pain, forgetful and extreme brain fog) during the first part of my cycle and it was particularly bad at the 1st, 2nd and 5th cycle. I now have been provided with some medical reasons why, I am below the normal ranges of oestrogen (particularly in the first part of my cycle) and have now been told my blood Sugar was really low from a blood test......I know my blood Sugar was even worse during the mirena due to symptoms.....

Not sure if this is relevant to your case. I found magnesium really helpful as well as the turmeric. I briefly tried vitex (before I knew I was low estrogen) and it made me feel worse (for obvious reasons).

I guess what has really helped me was to have some blood tests done at the appropriate times of my cycle to actually see what was going wrong.

That is really good that a dr believes you! what a find. Can I ask what countery that was in?
