It sounds debatable when you hear allergists say your immune system is overreacting when you have allergies BUT you hear other doctors say your immune system is weakened when you are unable to fight off viruses that most people fight off and get allergies when your immune system is weakened. But I know my immune system is weakened. It is something I will need to look into more to understand. Although I have celiac disease or inflammation in my intestines, I know my immune system still needs to be strengthened. At this time, I will not think about the immune system overreaction part since it is confusing.
