Re: Hypoglycemia and couldn't eat
Can you drink? The best thing for me, is milk (although dairy at the market is bad for you). It raises it and has fat in it so it's not too bad of a blood
Sugar swing.
Also, sometimes 1/4 tsp salt in a coffee mug of water does the trick. No more than that, or you can throw off your electrolytes and feel poorly all day.
There are times when I can't get anything down or I will vomit. Those times I put just a drop of milk on my tongue or the tiniest piece of food on my tongue. Wait a minute or so and do again. Each time I can put more and more food on my tongue and finally it goes down.
Sometimes if I KNOW food is coming and I can smell it, it tricks my mind into thinking I've already eaten and my
Sugar will go up on it's own. It's weird, I know , but I think it has something to do with the mind-body connection, which is not new age, but medical fact according to Dr. Weil.
Lastly, for some reason stimulating the pineal gland by sun-gazing at safe times, has actually raised my blood glucose without me having to eat. Which really has come in handy a few times.
