Re: Do you use regular parsley, or Italian?

I have had no measurable effects from the Zeolite (Waiora) drops. However a friend of mine who does bio-meridian testing for a living and gives advanced seminars in this type of diagnosis recently told me he has had vey good results with the drops. He can measure metal toxicity using the MSAS machine and after using the drops metal levels drop dramatically. I take him at his word on this.

Zeolite also is said to increase the absorbtion of vitamins and minerals when added to foods by 40%. That is quite a statistic! As for the parsley I use only the organic curly and always process it in my Vitamix. I believe this is an important step. The Vitamix is a high power blender that blends the fiber into extremely small particles that can be easily digested and assimilated in the body. A great place to learn about green smoothies is at Rawfamily.com.

They have been raw foodists for many years and give seminars and have written books on this diet. They have moved away from consuming juices without the fiber. Essentially they say the pure juice stirs up toxins but does not help to clean them up. They say the fibers are what bind the toxins so they can be removed from the body. So they recommend the whole leaf be used. More at their website.

Jethro Kloss was a big advocate of parsley for removing kidney stones. Dr. Norman Walker said it was one of the best foods you could take for eyesight. Whenever I take it my brain lights up. I feel a sense of intense alertness. Parsley is an herb and caution should be used whenever it is taken. Because it is so high in nutrients it can cause cleansing reactions and even kidney discomfort. If one is toxic or very ill they should try small quantities at first and measure their response.

One of my favorite Vitamix green smoothies is a small handful of soaked almonds blended till liquid, a medium size pear (sometimes I freeze them if needed), a large handful of parsley and a tbs of maple syrup. (I use the sweetener because the parsley has a slightly 'peppery' taste). That's it!
