Please be cautious of the new age movement. there are a lot of well meaning individuals but a lot of things going on behind the scenes that are not so pretty. Yoga connects you to large groups with many of the practicioners doing drugs and attuning to questionable vibrations. So I say: Want to stretch? Stretch. Want to be present? Be present. But you don't need to connect to an established orthodoxy to do this.
Also, YOUR EGO MUST BE INTEGRATED!!! It is not healthy to speak about "the ego" as if it were some separate entity plaguing you with a "sick hostile world your ego had created for you". I am readily aware that many will disagree with me. But this separatist way of thinking does not serve you or the greater good.
