Yep, One pill of Lexapro. 2 1/2 years ago. Was in the E.R. within a half hour of taking it. Then never felt the same afterwards. It was different then than it is now though. I think it triggered high cortisol state back then. Then I seem to recover for the most part although never really felt myself, but then crashed again with what I believe is low cortisol state now. Which is even worse than what I suffered before. Before I just felt jittery and agitated all the time, couldn't connect with people or with my children, in a constant brain fog. Now I just feel really physically sick and anxious and severely depressed. I wasn't depressed before. My doctor explained it that the anti-depressant was way too high dose for me, individually, as I have low iron which means low dopamine to counteract the seratonin. That is why taking an SSRI was bad for me. At least in that dose.
Anywhoo, I just know my life has sucked pretty badly sense then.
