i was scheduled for that surgery but i couldn't wait to be seen. i went to another doctor and paid out of pocket. he found the strings and pulled it out with very little pain. sometimes i think they just want to see inside to see how much damage the thing caused. good luck.

it's been about 7 or 8 years since i had the mirena. now that i'm ready to settle down and have a baby it seems impossible. now i'm upset all over again and still have not gotten an apology from the doctor that assaulted me.
