Re: Trapped gas after enemas
I take in about 1 to 1 1/2
quarts water for the cleansing enemas. Sometimes I put baking soda in the water and sometimes not. I repeat this until the water is almost clear. I always feel like there is more that won't come out. I have a spot just under my right ribs where I lie on my back and press on that spot. I think it's my hepatic flexor. It helps stuff that's in my ascending colon to release but this doesn't always work. I work on this for at least an hour to try to get everything released.
Then I do two
coffee enemas using 2 cups each. I retain as long as I can. Sometimes that's 2 minutes and sometimes 20. I usually feel a warm relaxed feeling in my liver area and hear and feel bile releasing. When I release the coffee sometimes I get a lot more loose stool out.
My theory is that I have reduced bile most of the time which causes constipation. When I do a
coffee enema it causes stuff in my small intestine to move into my large intestine. Hence, more stool releases when I release the coffee. This is stool that had been not moving out of my small intestine because of insufficiant bile flow. Does this sound reasonable?
What I don't understand is why I get such terrible trapped gas after the coffee enemas.
Sometimes, when I do a
coffee enema the coffee gets absorbed and nothing comes out later when I try to release it. Which makes me think I may be dehydrated. However, I drink a lot of water during the day. I've wondered if there is some reason why my colon doesn't absorb the water from my body. Or if my body has trouble retaining liquids. It does seem like whenever I drink anything I'm having to pee it out very shortly after.
