Re: Been kinda quiet here on the Debate forum
I think you missed everything that I said before that, which was why I was concerned about writing such a long post.
What I said in summary was that the National Institutes for Health recognizes cholestasis (slow or stopped bile flow) as a real condition, caused by a lot of common things like antibiotics, digestive parasites, pregnancy, birth control pills, tumors, cancers etc, that it MUST be corrected or the body suffers and can't digest fats and fat soluble vitamins.
What I was leading up to for mango, is that since my teen years I've had chronic fungal infections, fatigue, psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Finally, after a lot of wasted time with diets, supplements, doctors, treatments, gall bladder removal, etc., all to no avail, I discovered this forum. That was 10 years ago when I was 42. After a series of liver flushes, I cleared my psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, cleared my fungal infections, increased my energy levels measurably with recorded data on how fast I could run 5 miles during each 2 week period between flushes, ran my first marathon and qualified for the Boston Marathon, which, if you read up on it, is a major accomplishment.
Since then, I've lapsed, but have been able to repeat the sequence of recovery and energy improvement more than three times. In the medical community, when somthing is repeatable three times, it's very significant and very real. I've never continued this process for more than 5 flushes, because I become so satisfied with the results, that I forget how crappy I felt before. it takes a long period of time before symptoms begin to return. I just completed my third flush with again, the same sequence of results. I intend, this time, to continue with the 2 week flush cycle well beyond 5 flushes.
When I post this in such an abbreviated manor it sounds ridiculous, like I'm just another nut (to mango), which is why I was trying to go into detail and back up my claim. Mango didn't even respond, which means he/she couldn't get through my post, and it seems like you only read the last paragraph.
That's what's most frustrating to us who have experienced AND MEASURED the benefits. Most people just shut down when there's too much to read.
Simply saying "it works" isn't going to cut it with anyone who hasn't experienced it.
