Re: Im finally getting better. Ivermectin and albenza
I have to disagree with you here. As someone who has suffered for two years now, many ups and downs, and I have never given in and taken drugs. But I don't judge those who do, and I would take them if I thought they would actually work, but very few have been helped. Those that have been helped, had to take far too much and for too long.
Now this person who posted that they are doing better....I don't judge them. I'm happy for them, and they are probably sorry that the natural route didn't work, but had to do it to survive. I'm glad to hear they are better, and don't want to discourage anyone from sharing success or failures, it's how we learn. These
parasites are horrible, and we have to help each other, as there is very little help for us out there at this time.
Not trying to pick a fight, just trying to make you understand that this is a support forum, and you have to try to have some empathy for what people have been through, and understand that the decision to take the drugs may be one out of desperation. This person has scattering in the head and all over, that would be enough to drive a person mad. Made worse by people in their life not believing they have parasites, let alone the doctors blowing them off.
I have first hand experience with 12 doctors, all of whom have never dealt with worms (so they think), and 4 of them were infectious disease doctors from 2 different major medical universities. I am a strong determined person, but I don't want to think of the outcome of someone not so strong. I wonder how many people have just ended it thinking there is no hope. So that is why I disagree with making statements to someone like you did, it offers no help or support to someone suffering. It's one of those posts that if you don't agree, it's better to ignore than to respond like you did.
