For a company like Sears to have access to matching SSN with name on you driver's license tells me that the National Data Base is certainly up and running. I knew it was about 10 years ago after I opened a bank account without an ssn, and then somehow got it with my State ID. But, now, to have most (if not all) private corporations to have access to matching ssn's with State ID, now that is a bit too much. IRS use to be the only entity - a Federal Agency (wink wink) that could do that. Now corporations have this access - means this country has indeed turned into a fascist state!

A cashless society here we come!
