Sears is already implementing 50% deals on their products if you provide your ssn, phone number, address. Where is that information going?
I was checking out at Sears and the lady asked me if I wanted 50% off, all I would have to do is provide information.
I gave a fake ssn to see what would happen.
The lady had a problem matching my name off my driver's license with the provided ssn.
She put me on the phone to speak to a man that was on the other end, and he asked me for the ssn. I said, "sorry, I don't provide that information over the phone" and he said, "have a good day."
The lady (Jamaican nationality) said, "oh, heck, I'm going to give the discount to you anyway."
I walked away thinking, "my god, 50% discounts for the slaves!"
My gut tells me that this in preparation to going cashless.
