Lecithin and Olive Oil?

Can anyone point me to more information on the lecithin & OO combination used in the evenings to help with the liver-gall bladder?

What does it do? Will it aid the softening of stones and therefore the removal of them too? Or would the OO flush still be needed?

How and why does it work?

I looked for more info but have not been able to find much on the subject.
