Re: Mucus looking strings in stool- Mucus or parasites? i

James,
That is the point.! I have tried to find a proof they are candida colonies, candida biofilms, mycelia, or any other fungal form without success. I can not tell here it is candida only based in my opinion. It is true they come out when people follow an intensive antifungal program or enemas. It is true people feel relief after passing them to the point that many claim it is a cure. If you follow the logic, it will take you they are candida colonies.
Now, there is the other part. Technically, candida cells and colonies are microscopy. Search google images trying to find pictures of candida biofilms, mycelia, hyphae, or cells that don't be microscopic. I haven't found any, even biofilms on medical devices aren't seen without an instrument.
Moreover, I have gotten the same explanation from microbiologists and MDs.
So, I have to accept I can not affirm they are candida colonies when I can not proof it.

Jorge.
