Seeing Red...

There's a possibility that at least some kinds of the morgs can absorb food coloring s. A few months back I was so tired of drinking water that when I stumbled on an old bottle of the "MIO" liquid in the back of the cupboard, I quickly made a huge glass and probably squirted in way too much of the flavoring... But the fruit punch tasted good to me, so I made another glass...

The next day after showering these 3 morgs were on the shower floor. They're 3 different shades of red for what I believe are 3 different types of fungi. Two are the filament type and the other is that "gel" kind. Maybe they each absorbed the dye(red#40) differently, where normally they would be clear? Still more questions than answers...
