Re: Four and a half months post

I almost made my own post until I saw yours and you are going through exactly what I'm going through. I'm 4 months post Mirena too. Most people talk about their experience WITH Mirena, but I had a great experience with it in. I had mine in for almost 3 years and just had it removed end of March. Had a HEAVY cycle end of April which only lasted a few days. and have had a cycle every month since then. However, and it seems to get worse right before my period, I have serious "brain fog", dizziness, lack of sex drive (I got the mirena out bc my husband and I wanted to try for baby #2, no sex drive doesn't help!) depression/anxiety. You name it, I've got it. After my period the dizziness, or vertigo goes away but I'm still dealing with the bouts of Depression and anxiety. I do have meds for it which help balance me out but I'm so sick of putting all this mess in my body. I eat healthy, exercise as much as I can, it's hard to exercise when you experience vertigo, I feel like I look crazy! I have NEVER EVER experienced anything like this until the removal of my Mirena. So i'm 4 months post Mirena and supposed to start my cycle soon and the passed two months have been hell. I'm thinking it's because our hormones are all out of whack and our bodies and the chemicals in our brain are trying to return to normal...whatever that is lol I've almost been tempted to nix the baby idea and go back on the mirena but I have faith my body will even itself out over time. I'm just thankful I have a supportive husband, I don't have the energy to even entertain friends because they don't understand what I'm going through. They say I have to get out and do stuff but when you feel this way that is most times hard to do. Anyway enough of my rambling, praying we all can get back to our normal lives and shake this mess!
