Eat cartilage. Shark cartilage usually gets the spotlight because it is not readily available and thus the price can be jacked up to insane levels and you don't get much to boot... but chicken and turkey bones have lots of cartilage that you can eat instead, such as the tips of drumsticks and the big chunk at the top ridge of the rib cage. I always chew these off and eat them along with the bone ends and marrow. Supplements that are good to take are vitamin C, sulfur (MSM), and silica.
