Re: Dr.Lam's protocol without supplements

Hi Antonella,

This brings tears to my eyes....I was in the same place as you...not able to eat...not even able to stand or walk...I was vomiting the bile...I really believe most of this was do to low sodium. This was the 1st time I was hospitalized...to the point of not stop vomiting, heaving seizures and very labored breathing...to weak to even lift my legs. Close to a coma and death. I was not diagnosed at this time with Addison's disease...I was just given saline Iv and oxygen and I was released in 4 days. (This was early June 2004).

I was doing pretty good...not know why the sodium lost happened, they had no clue. No more vomiting, able to walk, able to drive and eat.

Then In late August 2009 again in the hospital due to the vomiting starting up none stop at night, dizziness I did not wait I was scared...This time they ran more tests and diagnosed me with Auto-immune addison's and put me on the hydrocortisone, but nothing for retaining the sodium...until my 4th visit to the hospital and they final realized I needed fludrocortisone.

I am still on 10 mg of hydrocortisone daily was 30-50 mg daily...I take Hawaiian bamboo Jade Sea Salt instead of the fludrocortisone. (No other salt worked for me) .
I put this on all my foods I eat. I will sometime take about 1/8 th of a teaspoon under my tongue.
**** Have the DR's ever give you saline IV? ****

Yes with DR Larry Wilson...Nutritional Balancing.

When bed ridden I was not able to eat...I would try and eat salted cracker could not even get them down. I was so dizzy before bed ridden to the point on not being able to walk with out holding on to the walls or someone...very weak too.
At the time of bed ridden I really just thought I had a bad flu...and I was in an auto accident I thought the dizziness was from that...but it wasn't it was do to low sodium. Very Scary.
I did not know to use the salt at that time...not until after I started Nutritional balancing...the saline IV at the hospital got me back to a good level (4 days to do so each visit) until I lost it again. Once I had the saline Iv I was ok...but not great...but I was not bed ridden anymore..

I hope this helps you....I really am concerned about you...can you get to the hospital and get an IV of saline and see if this helps...I also suffer low cortisol...but the low sodium is what caused most of my issues.

Please anytime feel free to ask

Best to you,
Marie
