Re: Dr.Lam's protocol without supplements

GREAT NEWS I am very happy for you. The smart thing you have done is to NOT give up.

It is possible to find ways to encourage the body to lessen allergic reactions. I can give you an example. I have a daughter who does not have Adrenal Fatigue. She was at college she got sick and was misdiagnosed 3 times. She started having a reaction to the medications and then a reaction to everything. Her landlords brought her to the emergency room twice. After more than a week of this she was so bad she couldn't keep water down. She took a taxi down to her doctor's clinic. They got her all set up for an IV in order to get some fluids and nutrients into her body. The second the drip hit her veins she began to violently thow-up. They sent her home and told her if she didn't get better to go to the ER. At this point she was also having anxiety attacks (and she normally never has anxiety issues). Out of sheer desperation I told her to open a box of supplements I had ordered to her place for her siblings and I told her to take out the L-Theanine. I knew she couldn't swallow a capsule so I told her to open it take the powder out and put it on her tongue and under her tongue. She was able to get about half of it into her mouth then she put a small ice chip in her mouth and managed to swallow the powdered L-Theanine.

The L-Theanine is recommended for the adrenals I have never had a postive or negative response to it. But in my daughter's case it calmed her down. She was so grateful to feel better that she took the stuff every 3 hours. Then I was able to get her to use a antinausea suppository. That allowed her to sleep. Then she continued to take the L-Theanine and was able to move up to drinking juice then fruit then egg.

This was in May and just yesterday I told her I think she can go off the L-Thenine.

I mention this example because as long as you and a doctor you can see in person and Lam continue to work and try different approaches sooner or later you should be able to come up with stuff that will help you improve. I would imagine one of the first steps might be to experiment with foods that have nurtrients that could help you.

Good Luck
