Re: Do I Hvae AF? What do I do next? Very scared!

Ok.  We’ve all been through the panic stage, so we know how that feels. It’s horrible, but you will get past it.

First off.  There are no quick fixes.  You have a lot to learn and understand.  No one doctor has all the answers.

You’ll need to learn how to address all sources of stress.  Environmental, emotional, physical.  If you don’t learn all the things that cause stress, you will not recover.

I worked with Dr Lam for 2 years, and he did help me someone.  However, his articles are intended to scare the crap out of you and convince you that only he can help you.   I used to get stressed just reading his articles.    He is expensive and his supplements are expensive.  $90 for about a 6-minute phone call.

For testing, you can get a saliva test from the Canary Club or ZRT.  I had the saliva test done about 12 times over the last 9 years.  It can confirm that your cortisol is high or low, but what the hell do you do about it?

Actually, Seriphos can help lower cortisol and reset your circadian rhythm.

You take during the periods when you have energy, which is usually when your cortisol is high.  Usually this is in the evening and morning.  I take two 1-hr before bed, one at bed time, one if I wake up, one in the morning and one at noon.  The idea is to help reset your circadian rhythm.

Earthing is also a must to protect yourself from the stress of EMF.

It basically protects from the stress caused by EMF exposure.  Completely free after you buy some products such as an earthing ankle strap.  It has been proven to reduce cortisol levels.

Copper toxicity is also a problem.  This is a great book on stress, copper and adrenal fatigue.

Based on the success people have been having here recently, you should consider Larry Wilson’s method.  It uses hair analysis to measure your mineral status.  Supplements and lifestyle recommendations are part of the program.  It is not a quick fix (there are none), but it seems to be a safe protocol.

Here are his recommended practitioners of his approach

Your symptoms of blurry vision can be caused by hyperventilation.  Chronic stress leads to chronic hyperventilation.  Here is a diagnostic questionnaire for hyperventilation.  A score over 23 or higher indicates hyperventilation.

A breathing technique to correct this subconscious hyperventilation is the Buteyko Breathing Technique.  This breathing technique stopped my anxiety, cold hands, blurry vision and many other symptoms.

This retrains your breathing so you don't subconsciously hyperventilate.
A little hard to learn, but well worth it.   Stress leads to hyperventilation and hyperventilation leads to stress.  Buteyko works on half of this cycle.

Pick up a copy of this book.  It covers the basics.  It’s not perfect, but it’s a great start

Lots and lots of meditation helps. Twice per day.  Before breakfast and a couple of hours after your evening meal. This is a good book to start with.

You want to learn mindfulness meditation or Insight meditation.  This teaches you to watch your emotions and thoughts, so you can catch yourself getting angry, worrying, etc.

All the negative emotions cause stress and make you worse.  Anger, greed, envy, pride.

These guys have some great research on the positive impact of positive emotions.

Stay away from all stimulants, such as coffee, chocolate, etc.  No online gaming, no p 0 r n, no self-gratification, no roller coasters, try to stay away from action and horror movies. Sorry it’s chick flicks from now on ;)  Hope you like Sleepless in Seattle.

Hypnosis is really good as well. Here is a good book

This is an awesome hypnos mp3

Most of us do better on a high protein diet.  Probably because land based protein is high in zinc, which helps correct high copper.

Sorry for the long post....there is lots to learn.
