White skin build up besides lips

I just took a shower and got my lips pretty wet (I usually don't). After showering, I noticed that around 1/2 - 3/4 inches of skin next, above and below my lip turned really white as well. It's thick skin build up... Anyone experiencing that as well? I probably don't just have a lip condition, but more like neurodermatitis or Psoriasis on and around my lips. My derm once said that this couldn't be conneced and that this might be skin that has build up because I don't wash those areas like I used to, but I don't think so anymore. It's just too much. Tweet
