I'm curious how the removal went for you. I need to have my taken out but am very afraid because they cannot find the threads. They told me that the threads have coiled up into my uterus. In order to remove my Mirena, they have to insert a hook through my cervix and pull out the threads first.

I have not had a vaginal birth, and the placement of my Mirena was extremely painful. I almost fainted and threw up. I am so afraid for the removal process. Tweet
