I have had Mirena for almost 2 weeks and it was the worst decision ever! Since having Mirena placed, I have had terrible pelvic pain, excessive bleeding, lower back pain, extreme depression....and now I cannot even put in a tampon comfortably! The damn thing was very painful to have put in and it was for nothing! I have scheduled an appointment to have it taken out tomorrow and am sure it will be just as painful to have it removed but at least it will be out of me! I pray that I do not continue to have problems as it sounds like some women do once it has been removed.
