I agree with you regarding the original question on parasite and thyroid.

However, I got a Metametrix stool test. It reported two parasites that matched my symptoms rather well. After a week or less on Alinia, I was back to normal.

It does not seem that most people have such a problem. I had to go to the mens room twice per day or more on short notice.
