I am unclear as to exactly how much Iodine you are taking, is that lugol's? 2%? 5%?
At any rate I would be very conservative in my Iodine use. Iodine supplementation can put the kidneys through a helluva workout.
I had visible signs of bromide detox at 31mg(brown pee).
If you are committed to trying to beat this thing with iodine(and I don't know that anyone has done this, you are in uncharted waters here), get to a level that you are comfortable with and stay there. Space it out during the day and drink lots of water.
