The Dawnlanders were one of the greatest peoples on the planet and had the most sophisticated understanding of the spiritual nature of reality with abilities to match, and so I can see how certain forces had a definite agenda to systematically exterminate them. In 600 A.D they built the largest city in the world; Cahokia -covering 6 square miles- which had a population of 100,000 and over 120 giant earth mounds. When the foreigners asked them how long they had been living in the Dawn Land- their answer was "since the beginning of time". Clearly longer than the 40,000 years archaeologists begrudgingly acknowledge.
