Re: Worms in my head. Please help.

I'm new and replying because I have Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and Ehrlichiosis (both fm rickettsial bacteria from tick bites). Doctors would only believe it was stress. Not so. Infectious Disease doc ran a bunch of tests, confirmed the RMSF and Ehrlic. and Rx'd 100 mgs of doxycycline twice daily for 28 days (56 100 mg tablets total). That helped but I needed promethazine for nausea caused by the doxycycline. I was infected for so long that the parasite/bacterial stuff crossed into my blood-brain barrier and ended up in my brain.

Now, two years later, same problem. More doxycycline. Also, I'm eating salt tablets - 3 grams a day and I may need more, with lots of water to flush out what I can. parasite hate salt. Buy cheap salt tablets at GNC or Whole Food or wherever you can find them. This will be nauseating, too, the salt intake, but do it anyway. Check with your doc or look elsewhere on the web to seek extra info to back up what I'm saying. I'm not a doc, but the pain is awful, and doxy and salt have helped me before. I hope it can help you, too. Go see in Infectious Disease doctor and insist that you have as many blood tests run as possible to further diagnose and treat your issue. Don't give up.
