This is so interesting as I had similar advice from a nutritionist and I am also hypoglycemic w. AF. What I did not understand was how the heck could protein help me with blood sugar. I thought protein was just for building muscles. Well after a few weeks of reading around the web I learned that the body can turn protien into blood sugar. What I still don't understand is why every two hours? I feel like if I eat a hamburger patty or two, that ought to last me more than two hours? If anyone can shed more light on this question I would really appreciate it.
