Re: how to do tests?
Hi there, maybe James or other person can tell me about how to do testings, like for example,
if i buy coloidal silver how i can test it is good? i need a microscope (what kind) or i need other stuff?
There is a lot of controversy over what really constitutes a good colloidal silver. And to really test things such as particle size would really require equipment that is extremely expensive.
How to test herbs if are ok?
Depends on how in depth you want to get with this as well. Herb importers have entire labs to test each batch of herbs for various things like pesticides and heavy metal content. Then they get tested again by the raw material suppliers and GMP manufacturers. And in some cases by wholesalers. So batches of herbs get tested repeatedly before they reach the consumer. If you are worried about herbs that have been sitting in a store for who knows how long then there are a few simple things you can do to get a general idea if there is any potency left to them. First check the color. Does it have the characteristic color or is the herb all faded out with age? Also check the smell. Does the herb still have a strong characteristic smell? If in bulk jars you can also take a tiny amount and see if the herb still has its characteristic taste.
other important/interesting or typical tests like this?
just curios if someday i can do it too
Again some basic things you can do above unless you want to spend hundreds of thousands in to lab equipment to run more detailed tests.
