Re: Are cold sores a candida die off symptom?

Cold sores can't be anything but a sudden resurgence of herpes, there is no other cause. So maybe your system is so taxed dealing with the toxins (your liver is too occupied to maintain the immune cell manufacture to a sufficient degree, for instance - going out on a limb here) that HSV-1 found a moment to become virulent again.

As I'm sure you know it's mostly dormant but breaks out from time to time, and this is usually correlated with severe stress. So a lot of things may happen but once the dieoff is complete things will return to normal - albeit unburdened by candida. Best to just stay the course and it will clear up.

I worry about this because I have EBV antibodies and a definite problem with CFS, and I know how bad outbreaks can be. A single one can persist for months no matter how healthy you are, so doing a proper anti-parasite/candida regimen could end in disaster.

Oh well, better of two evils I suppose.
