Re: help please with my glucose tolerance test results

I dont know about those numbers but I do know the crunchy nut cornflakes would spike me! I am diet controlled, this is only by a very strict diet. Low carb.
First, processed foods contain so much junk, it is a wonder we have the issues we have.
Have you tried diet modification? What works for me is eating alot of vegetables, lentils, sweet potatos for carbs.

The key for me is to minimize the carbs to small doses.

I will eat 1/2 cup of sweet potatoes with vegetables and/or protein.

When we control the type and amount of carbs, we can get better control of the blood sugar.

some take coconut oil prior to eating, this is said to act as a buffer, I have done this and it has been effective for me

Replace rice with quinoa, again limited amounts. It is my experience, consuming carbs like this have kept me off meds.
