i saw it time ago in a magazine from my country, that companies which used it should put in the ingredients list or would be sanctioned.

I think remember is made from animal enzymes maybe, but not sure...

Edible paper has been out for a long time.  It is called rice paper and can be bought in some herb catalogs and can be bought from specialty supplies for cakes, etc:
