Mine was lost somewhere between 6 months and 3 years, and I didn't know it. The Dr. did an ultrasound, but he thought it showed the Mirena was still in there. But the X-ray clearly showed that it WAY off to the side--no where near my uterus! Please let us know what happens. Think about getting a second opinion if you are faced with any decisions. Good luck!!
