My vet told me not to use Hydrogen Peroxide on animals. She told me that it damages their cells as much as it damages germs. Apparently it works so well on human wounds because we're one of the only living things immune to it.

Instead, my vet told me to always use rubbing alcohol. Until I heard this I was using Hydrogen Peroxide as well. Thought you might want to know.
