Re: Eh. symptoms I had....Sd2354, and what are your symptoms

Girlfriend was w/ me when I saw Cahill and he said she should probably get tested too, just to be safe.

Being a girl, she wanted nothing to do w/ having an old man stick something up her butt so she passed.

At the time, she didn't really have any symptoms besides sinuses, fatigue and itching.

Fast forward, a few weekends back at my birthday party, she had some drinks, took a nap and woke up feeling horrible. Her stomach was making insane noises and she ended up taking two days off work.

Since then, she's started getting a lot of the same crazy symptoms of EH I had. Stomach growling, pain in intestines, terrible shoulder and back pain, overactive thyroid (she never had it before), yeast infection in addition to the usual fatigue, sinuses, itching, etc.

It's also interesting b/c for the first year or so, I didn't have GI issues as much as I did sinus. She's been having sinus issues a lot and when she saw her local doctor, her tests came back negative for all allergies.

The local doctor also ran additional tests and even took Cahill's # to supposedly consult w/ him but of course, she never did and she came back saying she doesn't believe she has EH. *SHOCKER*

I'm not sure how frequent or common it is for a significant other to get a protozoan parasite from someone infected.

My opinion, either way, there's really no harm in her getting tested by Cahill. Either she has it or she doesn't but I can tell you this, seeing her now, it's like looking in the mirror for the past 3.5 years.

She's finally agreed to go to NYC and see Cahill but I'd be open to your thoughts Jazzy on the possibility of transferring the parasite b/w humans. There's no anal/oral action going on either, so primarily sexual, touching or spit swapping.
