First fast- Day 3- BM question
Hi everyone,
I've been lurking on these forums for the last three or four days to read up everything I can about water fasting. This is my first time doing this, all my life I've been told that "starving yourself" eats up muscle tissue and leaves you with the fat. Anyway, I'm on day 3 of my
Water Fast (surprisingly it hasn't been as challenging as I thought it would be... yet) the scale is down 5 lbs, but I am concerned because I haven't had a bowel movement since Day 1 (which is probably leftovers from what I had eaten before the fast). Am I supposed to be excreting something from the fat being broken down? I am of course peeing like crazy.
I'm also concerned because I haven't been experiencing any symptoms other than an occasionally growing stomach. I did notice I was shaking a little bit when I got up this morning but a cup of green tea seemed to relieve that. If I am not experiencing symptoms does this mean my body is not detoxing properly?
I know people say if you have nothing to detox then you won't experience as many symptoms, but my diet and exercise have been horrible. My starting weight was 200 lbs and I am a 23 year old female at 5'2". There's definitely something there lol..
