Re: how much does the typical hair mineral analysis test cost

"...Dr. Lawrence Williams ...suggests slowly chelating over a long period by nutritional balancing, weight loss, and exercise...

== Make sure you account for the tricky situation with inorganic mercury. It does not come out of the brain at a medically useful rate--half-life of maybe 20 yrs.

== What is going to get the inorganic Hg across the blood brain barrier at a medically useful rate? That is why Cutler suggests low, frequent dose ALA. It gets reduced to a di-thiol chelator of mercury and it crosses the bbb. However it has to be used carefully. It can move Hg across the bbb and *into* the brain if not used correctly.

"... because the placement of the metals in your nervous system is too delicate and sensitive to remove too quickly and can cause severe complications....

== After my 2 yrs of experience chelating (Cutler) I can certainly agree with that!!! I don't tolerate even moderate doses. I still only use around 16mg DMSA + 8mg ALA per dose. However I've gotten really nice gains in so many of my symptoms. After 15+ yrs of bad health (bone density, ADD, etc), my health is finally back into the normal range for my age. I finally have reasonable hope for a normal life. I assume I still have additional gains with further treatment.

== Best wishes to you.

== Joe
