Re: Help! My pet rabbit has pneumonia. Days are numbered...
Hello Fleurdelis,
Sorry for any confusion...
MMS is 28% by weight of 80% pure sodium chlorite in solution. When you take 28% and multiply it by 80% you end up with a chlorite content of 22.4%.
Sodium chlorite solutions are traditionally labeled according to their chlorite content because the amount of impurities varies from batch to batch.
To determine 0.24 ml in drops, you need to know how many drops per ml you get with your particular dropper. Droppers vary in size and peoples experience in forming drops varies. The range of drops goes from something like 15 all the way something like 25, so it is not very accurate unless you measure and then convert. If you have a 1 ml syringe you should be able to measure 0.24 ml. With a highly concentrated concentration chemical like
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement the variation results in large differences.
When using ml measurements, everyone measures exactly the same and the results are predictable and repeatable.
If all else fails, use 4 drops and go from there.
No
citric acid is used in this mixture.
