"When talking about buying supplements in the United States, keep in
mind that now all supplement manufacturers provide the same quality of
supplements."
Not true at all. Though I don't currently currently subscribe to
Consumer Labs I have in that past and at the site below you can see their
reports on all the supplement manufacturers that they test. Many of the
supplements they test don't have anywhere near the amount of the substance that
is on the label and many, many also have contaminated content. Unlike a
prescription drug producer, an over the counter supplement producer can put
anything he wants into the product. It is only when consumers complain
that they are tested. It is Orin Hatch of who wrote legislation supporting
the massive supplement industry of his home state of Utah who got this ugly
method of taking a product to market implemented.
From Consumer Lab reports I have found that anything that Costco sells
whether it is their house brand or someone else's brand - are always in
compliance with what the label says.
