Re: Measurement of mag confusion (elemental magnesium)?

This is a common confusion among all supplements. The reason it's tricky is because there can be three different measurements.

1. The amount of the supplement you're taking
2. The conentration of the molecule/substance you're taking in relation to the rest of the supplement (filler, or other nutrients)
3. How much of the molecule/substance is the actual element that you're looking for. (in your case, this probably means that the malic portion is 8 times heavier)

Same thing with lugols... you could take a certain mg of the drops, but that would include a bunch of water weight. OR you could take a certain mg of the I2/Iodide, but that would contain a lot of Potassium weight. OR you could do the math and take a certain amount of the molecule Iodine (factoring out the weight of the K)
