Re: Mold/Fungus Cleaning

I totally agree with Tizona. I was in a mold infested home, had to throw out shoes, books, jackets, sofas, etc... My system was so sensitve and damaged that I could not tolerate the odor that was infiltrated in these items. You may be able to keep some clothes but you better clean them in some really hot water or bleach. Your system will tell you fairly quickly if you are not tolerating the item. I think I did keep my hardwood furniture.
The big thing is too move out of your current residence ASAP and find a place that you are comfortable in. You may want to get a really high quality air purifier, especially for when you are sleeping. I don't think you have to worry too much about the old things that you bring into your new residence will contaminate your new residence. You just won't be able to tolerate keeping those old items that are contaminated.
If in doubt throw it out, or keep it in a place where you won't have any exposure to it.
