Day 18!!!!

Here it is day eighteen already and I am still kicking. Most of my family worries so much when I fast. They think you will shrivel up and waste away if you don't eat. They believe that if you don't feed yourself you will have no strength. I have tried to educate them but to no avail. I tell them I am eating, I am just doing it in liquid form and by smell,lol.

This is the fifth fast they have seen me do and they still just don't get it. Ignorance must be bliss. I am just happy they don't call and bug me everyday like they used to when I was first fasting. At least they now know from previous fasts that it hasn't killed me. My wife and kids are the only ones who understand somewhat.

I feel great today. Did all my chores, took my oregano oil, kidney tea, super gunk tea, ginger and uva ursi caps, and my OJ. Just drank a glass of the refreshing coconut water,mmmmmmmmm. I am now going to go hit the weights for and hour and blast my back, chest, and shoulders.

Spoke with MH's wife today for a long time, she is a great women. You got a good one there MH. She is very nice and easy to talk to. Now I await my order with great anticipation. I can't wait to try the sorghum out, and when the fast is over I will try the great jams I ordered.

It was funny because I have heard how hard it is to get her on the phone and I said a prayer before calling and got connected instantly. She said that it was strange because she was just thinking about me and wanting to talk to me about my order and bang, I called right then.

Thought travels quicker than the phone line, it appears. All things come together perfectly when on an extended fast.
