Re: Starting to get my life back--Here is what I did..
Hey Trundlebee!
Yea well I did sooo many things and basically found out through trial and error what works for me so I will list everything below.
Change of Diet:
-Low choline diet: made odor a little less noticable but it wasnt enough in my case so I decided to eat pure foods.
-Eat pure, simple, natural foods: this means NOTHING that is processed such as bread or pasta or anything artificial. On an average day I eat a plate of fruits for breakfast, rice and vegetables for lunch, salad and fruits for dinner. And fruits as snacks. It might sound very limited but you can get creative. I dont do any read meat just grilled chicken 1x a week. ***If you have digestive issues along with odor try to have smaller meals since they are easier to digest.
-Avoid juices, sodas, alchohol etc. I have a magic bullet so its very easy to make my own fruit juices and to sweeten it I use stevia which is a natural herb sweetener. When I am not at home I will cheat and have cranberry juice, lemonade, or lemon water but thats its. Coconut water is also good too. The most important thing is to drink lots water!
Supplements: I take all these supplements with every meal
-Probiotics-40 Billion
-Digestive Enzymes
-Magnesium
-Zinc
-Burdock Root:blood purifier, kidneys & liver support
-Milk Thistle: liver support
-Solaray Liver, Kidney &
Colon Cleanse caps(Lasted 2 weeks)
- Multi Vitamin:Make sure it doesnt have Choline, fish oil, soy or lecithin which are all things that increase odor.
-Chlorophyll: Usually contains copper which is fine
-B Complex: I just started taking it and it increases the odor but I think that might be the initial reaction since it is making my body clear out odor. I need to take it longer to find out.
-Going to buy Potassium tomorrow. I read somewhere that it works well.
Detox:
Castor Oil Pack: Every night I do the castor oil pack which consists of rubbing COLD PRESSED castor oil to top right side of abdomen area where liver is located and applying a flannel cloth over it and applying heat using a heating pad or hot water bottles to activate the oil. I leave it on for at least an hour every night before falling asleep. Its amazing because it helps to relax you and it helped with my anxiety and I feel that the castor oil pack was the difference maker for the odor.
**** I apply it all over my body at night as a replacement for body lotion since its very good for your skin.
****I also apply it all over my abdomen and back since it helps with constipation too.
-Try not to use deodorant when going to bed since it contains chemicals that affect liver. The less we wear it the better it is for our bodies.
- Excercise: sweat as much as possible to get the tmau out!! With every drop you sweat you release toxins. THe thing is that the odor will get worse while sweating but after a shower it will be how it normally is. Plus it will make you feel so much better. I like to jog outdoors since in the gym, I was too self conscious about the odor.
Skin Cleansing:
-I usually use J&J baby soap which is ph balanced but I heard Sebamed is good so I will buy it tomorrow to see how it works.
-
Epsom Salt bath works well too.
I hope this helps! If you need more information let me know :) Good luck!!!
