Re: PINGUECULA, Dry Eyes Lately

Hi! I just have to share this: I've been bothered by pinguecula for about a year. They are somewhat mild but who wants fatty globules on the whites of their eyes??? Plus, my eyes were bloodshot for a long time - I couldn't figure out why! It made the pings look worse. I was determined to resolve this even though the doctors say the only way is surgery and mine were not severe.

I had also started to get a recurrence of my childhood eczema. So I was relentlessly looking for a cure for that. I read that egg can aggravate eczema so I stopped eating eggs. Within THREE DAYS my eczema started to clear up and - an unexpected bonus - the bloodshot whites of my eyes became bright white again!

...But...I still had the pings, even though they were now far less visible. I started doing eye baths with distilled water and one drop of fresh lemon juice (boil the eye cup for five minutes first to sterilize it) - and my eyes felt refreshed and the pings did seem like they were improving slightly.

I then purchased Quantum Herbal Products Eye Formula a few days ago and started to drink 15 drops of it in water twice a day. Then I started using one drop of this herbal formula in the distilled water eye bath a few times a day instead of the lemon juice (I calle Quantum Herbal Products and they said to use one drop in distilled water for an eye bath but they didn't know if it would do anything for pings)

Another thing I did was to stop eating ALL GRAINS about two weeks ago.

Today, I can barely see any pings!!!! I can't believe it! I don't know if it was the egg, the eye baths, the not eating grains - a combination of all of those things plus the herbs - no idea which it is or if it is all of these things! The herbs seem to help but the pings were going away even before I took the herbs - though they have all but disappeared since I added the herbs in. No idea which it is but all I can say is I am thrilled!!!!!!!!!
