My 19 yr old daughter is 3 hours away and in the college clinic with possible mycoplasmic/fungal pneumonia. HELP!!

My daughter has Chronic Lyme disease, too, but it has never caused the symptoms she is now displaying: deep dry cough all night, shortness of breath, nausea, low grade fever, getting weaker and weaker. She was here at home for the weekend, and she was thinking her cough and sore throat were from allergies. We treat her with all natural remedies, and she got better with homeopathic remedies, and then went out with her friends Saturday night. She was at a town festival and ended up at a friend's house sitting by a campfire for several hours.

She woke up Sunday with a deep cough, but didn't feel too bad otherwise. When she went back home Sunday evening to her apartment in College Station, TX, she felt ok, but her cough starting getting worse and worse during the night, and she was nauseated. When trying to leave for class at 1:30, she got very weak and more nauseated, coughing uncontrollably. She is now at the college clinic and her roommate told me she is having blood tests. I'm getting ready to head that way with my husband, and I will check to see if there is any response to this message. I'm wondering if we should load her up with Iodoral or some other form of potassium iodide?? Thank you in advance for any response or help with this emergency!

Blessings to all,

Molly in Central Texas
