Re: Esophagitis and Acid Reflux

Thanks for the suggestions.

I read all the posts by Hv and I have been taking Slippery elm + Licorice root. In addition as per my doctors advise I am taking Zantac 150 mg twice. I have no relief. Everyday by evening between 8 pm to 9 pm acid backs up into my esophagus. It burns a lot. It has been more than 2 weeks now.
Ultra sound was done for Gallbladder stones and everything looked fine.
I gave blood sample for H.pylori test.
As I wrote in my previous post, I never experienced these symptoms in the past. This sudden onset is making me confused and depressed. Could it be something I ate or something else? Could it be some infection?

I spoke to a doctor friend of mine. He thinks it could be Gastritis. He suggested that I take Proton Pump Inhibitor.
Another friend suggested that I get endoscopy done.

Today I started taking Mastic Gum 1000 mg in the morning.

I am extremely worried.

I wish James could answer my post and give me some advise. But I appreciate any input.

Thanks
