One would need to know more about the situation to be able to answer your question.

Many people do discuss how much they earn with family and friends.

Some people don't discuss these things.

It is more a question of whether she is under any emotional pressure, or other sort of pressure, to discuss things she did not want to. It is then a case of how she handled that.

Then there are other issues, like does the mother want her to give her money, etc. Tweet
