Your gyno is WAY OUT OF LINE! I have had 3 absceses and all 3 times the STD tests came back clean. That was needlesly insulting to you. I think I read only like 2% are caused by STDs so that doc is NOT very well informed!

I'm having an awful time myself. I just met a new guy who is HUGE which as you all is BAD BAD NEWS! So, it's swelled up about the size of a grape (feel more like a grapefruit though!) and hurting. Thank God I'm not going to see him this weekend. How akward it's going to be to explain this :-( And I am praying contantly that it does not become infected. That is the most excrutiating thing on the planet and something I definitely will not be able to hide.
